$3 – 4/hour – Contractor Assistant/Sales Assistant – Remote Paralegal for US Law Firm

Position Title: Remote Legal Assistant
Compensation: $3 – $4/hour
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Work Hours: Must be available 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM US – Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, with additional time outside of these hours as needed to reach agreed-upon weekly hours.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Remote Legal Assistant to provide support for both our Contractor Manager and Sales Manager. This role involves managing and maintaining data, documents, and workflows within the firm’s software systems, including NetDocuments, Microsoft Word, Excel, Sales CRM, and Teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
For the Contractor Manager:

Organize and maintain contractor agreements and related documentation.
Track onboarding and compliance documents, ensuring timely updates.
Manage contractor data and records in the firm’s systems for accuracy and accessibility.
For the Sales Manager:

Maintain and update sales-related data in the firm’s CRM.
Support client onboarding and lead tracking processes.
Organize and update client files to align with firm standards.
General Responsibilities:

Document Management: Label, organize, and maintain files in NetDocuments.
Workflow Coordination: Ensure accurate categorization and metadata updates for all documents.
Task Execution: Complete assigned tasks in a timely and organized manner, adhering to established processes.

General Terms of Engagement
Time Tracking: Use Upwork automatic Time Tracker or a similar tool for all hours worked.
Work Hours: Must be available 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM US – Pacific Time, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet weekly hour requirements.
Technology Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
A computer capable of running cloud-based tools and software.
Quiet, professional workspace for remote work.
Onboarding:
Review, sign, and approve a Confidentiality Agreement, a nonbinding term sheet, and a binding contractor services agreement.
Interview Process
Applicants will complete assessments to evaluate skills and aptitude.
A flat fee of $15 will be paid for completing the assessments.
