The issue we’re encountering involves an external software provider: Bodygraph Chart with a Mailchimp integration.
Bodygraph chart is a company providing software that creates personalized Human Design and Astrology reports for businesses to offer their clients.
Here’s a quick overview of the problem:
We have an external Bodygraph Chart form embedded on our WordPress site, where users input data to generate Human Design charts. Once they submit their birth information, they are redirected to a results page.
Using MailChimp autoresponder, we usually send users a unique link to their results page using a merge tag for a specific data field collected from Bodygraph.
However, the results URL is significantly longer than usual, which is causing issues with Mailchimp’s ability to process the link.
As a result, the URL is being truncated, and users aren’t receiving the full link to their results page.
This is not something we’ve encountered before. Is the problem with WordPress or with Mailchimp? We suspected that WordPress may be contributing to the URL issue, however have been told by a team member that is not the case – however we do not really have confirmation or proof of that.
Mailchimp support suggests getting help from a MailChimp expert to figure out the problem.
I can provide more detail and examples on the project once we begin.
