Job Description:
We are a growing solar company looking to hire an experienced Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting expert to draft our first ESG report. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ESG frameworks and reporting, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or solar companies. This role requires an understanding of industry-specific ESG metrics, data analysis, and sustainability practices that highlight our commitment to responsible and impactful business practices.
Responsibilities:
Draft a comprehensive ESG report tailored to our solar company’s unique impact and goals
Research, analyze, and organize relevant data, working closely with our internal team
Ensure the report aligns with major ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB) and highlights our environmental, social, and governance initiatives
Provide recommendations to improve our ESG strategy based on current best practices and insights
Ensure the report is professionally presented, well-organized, and engaging for stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience in ESG reporting, especially for the renewable energy sector
Familiarity with global ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)
Strong analytical and writing skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to collaborate with internal teams and synthesize information effectively
Track record of delivering clear, impactful, and professional ESG reports
