We wish to create a counter-height passthrough between our kitchen and our dining room. The counter will be deep enough on the dining room side for our children to eat casual meals there. We are looking for assistance with the following:
– Help us select a counter material that is cost-effective, easy to maintain, and will blend in. We are not ready to spend for a stone countertop; we have been envisioning a finished wood bar top.
– Help us determine the shape of the cut-out and the depth of the counter, taking into consideration stability/strength, ergonomics, and appearance.
– Create a 3D rendering of the wall (from both sides) so that we can confirm that it looks good to us.
– Create a 2D plan that we can give to a contractor, measured in inches.
We would like the deliverables to be provided both as finished images/PDFs as well as the source file for the software you use.
