Our established US-based company is expanding into the Japanese market, and we’re looking to begin selling on Amazon Japan. As part of the compliance requirements, we need to obtain a Japan Consumer Tax Number. We’re seeking an experienced consultant or specialist who can guide us through the registration process, handle any necessary documentation, and facilitate a smooth application experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on the Japan Consumer Tax Number registration process for a foreign (US) entity
Assist in preparing and submitting all required documentation accurately
Liaise with relevant Japanese tax authorities, if necessary
Offer ongoing support and answer questions throughout the registration process
Qualifications:
Proven experience in assisting foreign companies with obtaining a Japan Consumer Tax Number
Strong understanding of Japan’s tax regulations, particularly those impacting foreign e-commerce businesses
Fluency in Japanese and English (preferred)
Experience working with companies selling on Amazon Japan is a significant advantage
