I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer to complete our new WordPress site in Elementor and migrate content from an existing Squarespace site. This role involves creating flexible, reusable templates and sections to allow for easy future content updates. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with strong experience in Elementor and an understanding of both WordPress and Squarespace.
Project Scope:
Site Migration:
Migrate a 3-page Squarespace site to WordPress, retaining two main pages, setting up proper SEO redirects.
Page Development:
Build out the Homepage and Meet Your Barbers pages using templates, ensuring sections for Google Maps, barber profiles, and reviews.
Create templates for a Blog Hub, Individual Blog Articles, and Individual Service Pages, with space for universal content sections.
Universal Sections/Templates:
Footer, Google Reviews (via API), Portfolio section, Barber Team section, Map section, Services section, and Social Media Icons.
Requirements:
Proficiency with Elementor and WordPress, especially with custom templates.
API experience (especially for Google Reviews).
Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress.
Attention to detail with a focus on creating a clean, professional site.
