We are hiring several skilled and experienced photo editors on an ongoing basis to retouch and enhance professional actor headshots and modeling portfolios. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in portrait photography editing, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with high-quality images for actors, models, and professionals in the entertainment industry. Please have a thorough understanding of industry headshot standards.
Timeframe: You will be sent the actors final selections (2 looks- 2 photos, or 4 looks – 4 photos, depending on the package they chose) and need to be able to complete edits within a 48 hour window. For modeling portfolios (10-15 shots) this will be a 4 day window.
Responsibilities:
Retouch and enhance actor headshots, focusing on skin tone, lighting, and detail refinement.
Smooth skin while maintaining a natural look (no over-smoothing).
Correct color balance and exposure to ensure vibrant, professional photos.
Background blur.
Remove any blemishes, small hairs in the face, etc.
Adjust lighting and shadows to make the subject look polished and well-lit.
Provide high-resolution final images in formats such as JPEG.
Work with raw images.
Ensure quick turnaround times without compromising quality.
Requirements:
Proven experience in portrait and headshot photo editing.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (or other industry-standard software).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to make images look natural while enhancing key features.
Previous work samples (preferably portrait and headshot editing) to demonstrate expertise.
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate remotely.
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with actors, models, or professionals in the entertainment industry.
Understanding of the specific requirements for actor headshots (lighting, composition).
Budget:
$15-$30 per image. Negotiable depending on skill set.
