Shopify/PayWhirl Expert with Advanced Development Skills

We are looking for a Shopify/PayWhirl expert to help troubleshoot and optimize our subscription discount process.

Our primary challenge is ensuring that a 30% discount code (VIP30) applies only to the first payment for subscription products and not to recurring charges. The discount is currently functional for one-time purchases but does not apply correctly to subscriptions.

Scope of Work:
Investigate and resolve the issue with our current PayWhirl subscription settings to ensure:
The discount code applies to subscription products.
The code is only applied to the first payment of a subscription.

Test the solution to ensure it works across all product variations:

Single purchase: 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month supplies.
Subscription plans: 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month supplies.
Provide documentation or clear instructions on how to replicate or adjust the settings in the future if needed.

Bonus Skills:
Advanced knowledge of CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript is a plus, as we may require:
Customization of the product selection experience (e.g., creating a custom drop-down menu to toggle between subscription and one-time purchase options).
Refining the user interface to improve clarity and aesthetics.

Requirements:
Strong experience with Shopify, PayWhirl, and subscription-based eCommerce models.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
Familiarity with testing workflows to ensure seamless customer experience.
Clear communication skills and availability for follow-up support if needed.

Timeline:
We need this project completed as soon as possible, ideally within the next 24 hours.
