Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales for Newton’s Ninja, a cutting-edge portable load cell calibration solution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
• Drive sales through our Shopify website.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and leads through self-developed marketing efforts, including but not limited to cold calls, email campaigns, SEO, and other digital outreach.
• Target load cell users at laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and research institutes across North America.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Newton’s Ninja products and services.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
• Track and report on sales performance and metrics.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
• Technical knowledge or experience in the calibration or load cell industry is a plus.
Compensation:
• Bonuses include: $50.00 for each case sold & $500 bonus for selling first 5 and additional bonus at $750.00 when a total of 9 units are sold.
About Newton’s Ninja: Newton’s Ninja kits provide the ability to quickly calibrate load cells in tension and compression up to 5,000lbf (22,241N). The essential kit weighs less than 25lbs (12kg) and includes a reference load cell accurate to 0.04% of full-scale capacity nonlinearity, a handheld indicator, and accessories. Newton’s Ninja is a portable load cell calibration solution that offers high resolution and accuracy. The system includes a reaction frame with a manual actuator, thread/adapter accessories, and optional force sensors and instrumentation. A NIST traceable certificate is included with both the reference load cell and handheld indicator.
Product Lead Time:
• Lead time for the product depends on the load cell ordered, ranging from 2 to 5 weeks after receipt of order.
• Reaction frames and travel cases are in stock.
