Job Brief
The Social Media Marketer will lead the charge in growing our TikTok presence by creating trend-driven, engaging content that resonates with our audiences. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker who understands TikTok’s unique culture, viral trends, and algorithms. You’ll produce compelling short-form videos, optimise campaigns based on performance data, collaborate with influencers, and experiment with new content formats to drive brand awareness and authenticity. Role Responsibilities:
1. Advertising and Campaign Management
Implement and manage advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Email, Threads, Twitter) to increase brand awareness and maintain a consistent social media presence.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated social media strategies, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals and objectives.
2. Content Creation and Brand Alignment
Generate creative and compelling content (written, visual, and video), including posts, graphics, videos, and infographics, to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, style guidelines, and marketing objectives, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
Create video content to actively promote the brand and engage with the target audience, focusing on both organic and paid strategies.
3. Social Media and Content Scheduling
Assist in managing content and campaign calendars, ensuring timely and effective scheduling of posts, campaigns, and promotions.
Oversee and coordinate email marketing campaigns, aligning them with social media strategies and marketing objectives.
4. Partnerships and Influencer Engagement
Identify and partner with content creators, influencers, podcasters, and advertisers to promote brand awareness, expand reach, and boost engagement.
Negotiate and collaborate with external partners to ensure campaign objectives are met and relationships are mutually beneficial.
5. Analytics and Optimization
Monitor and analyze campaign data, tracking KPIs such as engagement, conversions, and ROI to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Report key findings to the team, providing actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns and strategies.
Conduct competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement within the social media landscape.
6. Special Projects and Ad Hoc Tasks
Assist with ad hoc and special projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team and brand initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any related field
At least a year of Relevant Experience in Social Media Marketing
Solid Knowledge of Social Media Marketing Principles
Proficiency in Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Tiktok, and Tiktok Shop), Mailchimp, Management and Analytics Tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
Has the confidence to create video content of themselves promoting the brand.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in launching and managing Tiktok Shop is an advantage
