We’re looking for a talented freelance mobile app developer to help us build a comprehensive app for GoThreads, a platform that connects customers, stores, and drivers, similar to services like DoorDash and Instacart.
What We Need:
Platform: Apple (iOS) and Android apps
App Development: Based on our Adobe XD wireframes, you’ll need to:
Develop interfaces for customers, stores, and drivers.
The store interface should allow shops to upload and manage inventory and pricing.
The customer interface should enable users to shop and place orders.
The driver interface should allow drivers to receive orders and pick up items from stores.
Key Features:
Returns Service: Build a returns feature where customers can upload receipts and schedule pickup/drop-off for returns (both GoThreads and non-GoThreads purchases).
Promotions: Ability to add customer and driver promotions (e.g., discounts, delivery bonuses).
Inventory Management: Real-time inventory updates for stores (automated or manual updates).
Timeline:
This project needs to be completed within 4 months.
Requirements:
Impressive portfolio with relevant experience in mobile app development.
Ability to take our wireframes and expand on them to create a fully functional app system.
Availability to address technical questions from our advisory board (some of which are listed below).
Willingness to provide ongoing maintenance and updates after the initial development.
Advisory Board Questions (Be Prepared to Answer):
Wireframe Implementation: Are you capable of fully mirroring the wireframes and layout we’ve created in Adobe XD?
Returns Service: Can you build a returns service where customers can upload receipts and set a pickup location for drivers? Is it possible to verify that the location is valid?
Promotions: Can you implement promotional offers for customers and drivers (e.g., 10% off first orders, $5 for every three deliveries)? What additional costs are involved in this feature?
Inventory Integration: What is the process for stores to upload and manage inventory? Will inventory updates be automated, or will the store need to do this manually?
Ongoing Maintenance: Can you provide ongoing maintenance and updates after the app is live? How will this be structured—monthly fees or per request?
Project Cost: What is your total cost for this project, including a breakdown for each part of the app (customer, store, and driver interfaces, delivery service, returns service, etc.)?
