We’re looking for a skilled Social Media Content Strategist & Manager to execute a well-defined 3-month content strategy designed to position our brand as an authority in the barbering industry. This role requires someone experienced with strategy execution, content creation, and social media management. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of tools such as Basecamp, Notion, Adobe Creative Suite, and Meta Business Suite.
You’ll be responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. If you have a passion for storytelling, know how to appeal to millennial audiences, and can maintain a consistent brand voice while managing project workflows, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Execution:
Implement a pre-defined 3-month content strategy, focusing on content pillars including expertise, transformations, community engagement, and inspiration.
Content Creation:
Plan, design, and edit engaging posts (images, videos, carousels, and stories) using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
Capture the brand’s tone and aesthetic in all content.
Posting and Scheduling:
Schedule and post content on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook using Meta Business Suite.
Monitor engagement and ensure posts are published on time.
Collaboration & Workflow Management:
Use Basecamp for task tracking and Notion for maintaining content calendars, shot lists, and updates.
Collaborate with the brand team for approvals and feedback loops.
Community Engagement:
Interact with followers by responding to comments and DMs.
Run polls, Q&As, and other interactive features to drive engagement.
Analytics & Reporting:
Monitor performance metrics for each platform and report insights.
Suggest improvements based on analytics to optimize future posts.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing social media content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator).
Familiarity with Basecamp, Notion, and Meta Business Suite for workflow management and posting.
Strong knowledge of creating content that resonates with millennial male audiences (18-40 years old).
Excellent written and visual communication skills.
Ability to adhere to a consistent posting schedule and maintain brand tone.
A portfolio of social media content you’ve created and managed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in barbering, grooming, or related industries is a plus.
Basic video editing skills for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Familiarity with tools like Canva or Figma for quick design tasks.
