Position:
Solar and Energy Storage Plan Set Drafter
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar and Energy Storage Plan Set Drafter to support our team in delivering precise and timely permit plan sets. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of solar and energy storage standards, AHJ guidelines, and an ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive permit plan sets, including cover pages, project notes, site plans, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, attachment pages, structural certifications, and compile necessary data sheets for all products for permitting.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Sketchup Layout or comparable software, with a focus on creating detailed, AHJ-compliant plan sets. Demonstrated knowledge of solar and energy storage design standards.
Capable of interpreting intake forms to independently generate accurate permit plan sets.
Experience:
Intermediate/strong experience in solar/energy storage drafting with a proven track record of producing accurate and compliant documentation.
Contract Terms:
This is a contract-based position, with payment structured per completed plan set.
Additional Requirements:
Must adhere to a 24-48 hour turnaround for each plan set.
