**Job Description**
We are looking for a talented and experienced freelancer to create a **complete recipe ebook** ready for publication on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). The ebook will feature **30+ recipes**, offering readers a visually appealing and user-friendly culinary guide. From writing and formatting to designing cover art, you’ll handle every aspect of the project to ensure it’s polished, professional, and ready to captivate readers.
This includes:
1. **Recipe Writing and Development:** Crafting clear, engaging, and easy-to-follow recipes (we’ll provide a theme or cuisine focus).
2. **Formatting:** Formatting the ebook to comply with Amazon KDP standards and ensuring seamless readability on various devices.
3. **Images and Visuals:** Sourcing or creating high-quality, visually appealing images for recipes and other content.
4. **Cover Design:** Designing an eye-catching ebook cover tailored to the recipe ebook audience.
5. **Editing and Proofreading:** Delivering a final product that is error-free and professionally polished.
6. **Metadata Preparation:** Assisting with the title, subtitle, keywords, and description to enhance the ebook’s discoverability on Amazon.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Collaborate to define the theme or cuisine focus of the ebook (e.g., quick meals, vegan dishes, baking).
– Write and/or adapt 30+ recipes with clear instructions and appealing descriptions.
– Organize the ebook with appropriate sections (e.g., appetizers, mains, desserts).
– Format the manuscript to meet KDP’s standards, including hyperlinks for easy navigation.
– Design a professional and attractive ebook cover that resonates with food lovers.
– Include high-quality images for recipes and other visuals, ensuring proper licensing if sourced externally.
– Deliver a final, upload-ready package for Amazon KDP, including all files and metadata.
**Requirements**
– Proven experience writing and designing recipe or food-related ebooks (preferably for Amazon KDP).
– Strong writing skills with the ability to make recipes engaging and easy to follow.
– Knowledge of formatting tools (e.g., Kindle Create, Scrivener, MS Word).
– Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for creating high-quality visuals and cover art.
– Familiarity with Amazon KDP’s publishing guidelines and best practices.
