We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who can assist in setting up an accounting system tailored to our Mil Tea Coffee Shop. This includes creating a structure that enables staff to manually enter daily sales, expenses, and other operational data while ensuring the bookkeeper reconciles and reviews the records weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting System Setup:
-Design and implement a user-friendly accounting system that allows staff to manually input daily sales, -expenses, and inventory data.
-Provide training and guidance to staff on proper data entry processes.
Bookkeeping and Reconciliation:
-Reconcile sales and expense records on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy.
-Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
-Monitor cash flow and alert management to any discrepancies or concerns.
Financial Reporting:
-Provide detailed reports and insights on business performance to help optimize operations.
-Assist in preparing reports for tax compliance and filings.
System Integration:
-Leverage Loyverse POS data for streamlined reporting and accounting processes.
-Use cloud-based accounting software to manage and store financial records securely.
Collaboration:
-Work closely with management to refine processes and ensure alignment with the company’s goals.
-Communicate effectively via WhatsApp and other collaboration tools to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the milk tea or coffee shop industry.
-Proficiency with Loyverse POS and cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
-Strong knowledge of manual data entry workflows and reconciliations.
-Familiarity with startup environments and the ability to set up accounting systems from scratch.
-Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using collaboration tools like WhatsApp.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
-Experience with Philippine tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
