We’re seeking an experienced, resourceful, and detail-oriented WordPress Webmaster and Developer to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our digital presence. This is a critical role that supports our mission by ensuring websites are high-performing, user-friendly, secure, and visibly impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Development & Maintenance
• Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress.
• Customize themes and plugins to ensure brand consistency and optimal performance.
• Collaboration & Content Updates
• Work closely with graphic designer, project manager and leadership to strategize, design, create, maintain and keep a variety of websites dynamic, up-to-date, and relevant.
• SEO Implementation
• Incorporate SEO best practices to enhance visibility, performance, and search rankings.
• Performance Monitoring
• Use web analytics tools to monitor traffic, measure performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshooting & Security
• Address website functionality and technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Implement necessary measures to ensure a secure and protected website experience.
• Research & Innovation
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies to recommend and apply potential improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with in-depth knowledge of the platform’s architecture and ecosystem.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other key web development technologies.
• Skilled in responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to incorporate them into website design.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools to assess and enhance website performance.
• Expertise in website security and implementing necessary protection measures.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in creating visually appealing, engaging, and user-friendly websites.
• A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to stay ahead of trends in web development and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• General understanding of CRM, and email marketing tools that work well with WordPress
