Digital Marketing Manager Needed for Dallas Poker Room

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving awareness, increasing foot traffic, and promoting player engagement at our poker room. This role will require a balance of traditional digital marketing expertise and an understanding of the live gaming and entertainment industry. You will manage a variety of marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, SEO, paid ads, and partnerships, all aimed at growing both our player base and brand presence in the local and regional market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy Development:
* Develop, execute, and optimize a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives both online engagement and in-person foot traffic.
* Identify target audiences (new players, experienced players, local community, etc.) and create tailored campaigns to engage each group.
* Oversee the poker room’s digital brand presence and ensure alignment with overall marketing and business goals.
2. SEO & SEM (Search Engine Optimization and Marketing):
* Lead SEO efforts for the poker room’s website, ensuring it ranks well for key local search terms (e.g., “best poker rooms near me” or “live poker games in [city]”).
* Manage SEM campaigns, including Google Ads and other local online advertising channels, to target potential poker players searching for gaming experiences in your area.
* Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to track and optimize SEO/SEM performance.
3. Social Media Marketing:
* Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) to engage both current players and prospective customers.
* Promote upcoming poker tournaments, events, and special promotions to drive interest and participation.
* Create and curate a mix of content, including videos, player testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and highlights from major events.
* Foster a vibrant online community, encouraging player engagement and discussions about poker news, strategies, and events.
4. Content Marketing & Community Engagement:
* Develop content that attracts and educates poker enthusiasts, from beginner guides to advanced tournament strategies.
* Collaborate with the events team to promote poker tournaments, live streams, and community events.
* Promote player stories, successes, and testimonials to build a sense of community and encourage social sharing.
* Write blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters that spotlight key events, promotions, and poker room news.
5. Email Marketing & CRM:
* Manage email campaigns, focusing on new player sign-ups, promotions, poker tournaments, and loyalty programs.
* Segment email lists based on player behavior (e.g., casual players, high rollers, frequent tournament participants) to deliver targeted offers.
* Develop automated email sequences for customer retention, event reminders, and win-back campaigns.
* Analyze email performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize content for better results.
6. Paid Media Campaigns:
* Plan, execute, and optimize local paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads to drive foot traffic to the poker room.
* Focus on geo-targeting to ensure promotions are reaching the right audience within the local area and surrounding regions.
* Track the performance of paid media campaigns and adjust tactics for maximum ROI.
7. Influencer Marketing & Partnerships:

9. Analytics & Reporting:

* Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as player sign-ups, foot traffic, event attendance, and return on investment.
* Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis and emerging trends in the gaming industry.
10. Local Community Engagement:
* Promote the poker room’s community involvement, sponsorships, charity events, and local partnerships.
