We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English and Social Studies tutor to provide virtual lessons for an 8th-grade student who needs extra support with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will assist the student with their homework and help build studying and comprehension skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual tutoring sessions twice a week via Zoom.
• Assist the student with homework and reinforce key concepts.
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to the student’s needs.
Requirements:
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially with middle school students.
• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with Zoom.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
Details:
• Schedule: Twice a week, 1 hour per session (2 hours total per week), available after 5pm EST.
• Pay Rate: $20 – $35 per hour, depending on experience.
