Internship Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to gain practical experience in marketing and design within the publishing industry. This remote, unpaid internship will provide you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn from industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
Design and Branding:
Create eye-catching book cover designs using Canva and Midjourney.
Design engaging book interiors, including formatting and layout.
Develop brand identity elements, such as logos and color palettes.
Digital Marketing:
Assist in managing social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
Create engaging content for social media platforms.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote books.
Content Marketing:
Write compelling product descriptions and author bios for Amazon listings.
Create promotional content for TikTok, including short videos and engaging captions.
Data Analysis:
Track and analyze marketing campaign performance.
Use data to inform future marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in books, writing, and design.
Proficiency in Canva and basic understanding of Midjourney.
Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Passion for digital marketing and social media.

Training:
As part of this internship, you will participate in two one-hour virtual training sessions per week with a member of the Juniper Valley Ventures team. These sessions will provide you with hands-on guidance and support.
