YellowPad, a cutting-edge legal tech platform, is seeking an experienced attorney with expertise in prompt engineering to work with us on a contract basis. As we develop advanced AI capabilities for contract review and automation, we need a legal professional to craft and refine prompts that will guide our platform’s language models in processing legal documents, particularly in the areas of contracts and NDAs.
Your legal expertise will play a crucial role in training our AI to interpret and apply legal rules, making it easier for in-house legal teams to use our product effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, design, and optimize prompts to guide AI models in reviewing contracts and identifying key legal issues (e.g., governing law, confidentiality clauses, indemnification).
• Work closely with our product and engineering teams to understand platform requirements and ensure legal accuracy in prompt design.
• Test and iterate on prompt outputs to enhance the performance and accuracy of the AI models.
• Analyze and evaluate how well the prompts extract data points from legal documents and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Stay updated on best practices for prompt engineering in the legal industry to ensure cutting-edge results.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree with experience in contract law.
• Prior experience in prompt engineering or working with AI/ML tools in a legal context is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract review processes and ability to break down complex legal language into structured, understandable elements.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AI language models like GPT or similar platforms is a plus.
