Bookkeeping Services for Small Business

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Small Business Accountant/Bookkeeper to assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for our business. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing bank statements, performing bookkeeping tasks for the year 2024, and preparing key financial statements such as the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement to ensure timely and accurate tax filing.

Key Responsibilities
Review and reconcile monthly bank statements to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Maintain and update financial records using [specify accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks, Xero].
Organize and categorize transactions, including income and expenses, for the 2024 fiscal year.
Generate and prepare financial statements, including:
Income Statement (Profit & Loss)
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow Statement
Work closely with the tax preparer or CPA to ensure all necessary financial information is accurate and complete for tax filing.
Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in financial records.
Provide monthly or quarterly financial updates to the business owner as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications
Proven experience in bookkeeping and small business accounting.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or similar).
Strong understanding of financial statements and tax filing requirements.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with the business owner and tax professionals.
