We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Murder Mystery Writer to join our team! If you have a flair for suspense, a knack for twists, and can craft engaging short-form murder mysteries, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you’ll help develop captivating weekly games that keep our viewers guessing, engaging, and coming back for more clues.
Responsibilities
Write Short-Form Murder Mysteries: We need 10 (ten) micro mysteries with compelling plots, clues, red herrings, and twists that will be shared weekly with our audience.
Develop Characters and Clues: Craft memorable characters and hints that allow players to piece together the story week by week.
Qualifications
Proven Writing Experience: At least 3 years of experience in creative writing, ideally in mystery, crime, or interactive storytelling formats.
Thrill for Mystery: Strong knowledge of the mystery genre, with a creative approach to short-form storytelling.
Storytelling Skills: Ability to develop suspenseful, engaging plots, even in brief formats.
Adaptability and Quick Turnaround: Comfort with short timelines and the flexibility to adapt ideas quickly.
Bonus Skills
Interactive Storytelling Experience: Familiarity with game mechanics, decision-making narratives, or digital storytelling.
Knowledge of Clue-based Puzzles: Understanding how to create clues that lead players toward (and away from) the final solution.
Experience with Writing for Series or Episodic Content: Ability to write stories that can tie into a broader narrative or series structure.
