NeuBite, an innovative food tech startup, is seeking a skilled Payment Systems Engineer to lead the integration of Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payment systems into our existing platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment gateways, financial software, and compliance with government food assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure payment system architectures for handling EBT/SNAP transactions.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning SNAP/EBT payments.
Work with Third Party Processors (TPPs) and integrate their APIs into our existing systems.
Develop robust encryption and data security measures to protect sensitive customer information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure seamless functionality across all platforms.
Prepare technical documentation and system manuals for internal use and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills:
Proven experience with payment systems engineering, particularly in EBT/SNAP integrations.
Strong knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and secure payment protocols.
Proficient in API development and management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Python, Java, or other programming languages.
Previous work with financial or governmental payment systems.
Project Duration:
3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
