I am seeking to hire a producer for a ~20 minute explainer YouTube video in the business / finance genre. This video will require significant 2D animation, including both character animation and motion graphics / chart animation.
Please see the following YouTube video as an example of the animation and motion graphics quality I am seeking. Please pay special attention to the complexity of camera movement and character animation.
I believe the final video will be approximately 20% character animation, 45% motion graphics, and 35% live action.
I am seeking a producer to partner with who can oversee the production of this video, including animation, live action (stock footage), sound design, and scoring/soundtrack. I will provide the voiceover recording for the video.
I am highly experienced in the premium animation industry. I have a strong idea of what I want for the animation elements, which I can provide to you in a beat sheet and in hand drawn keyframes to inform storyboards. I am comfortable reviewing storyboards and rough layouts before advancing to final animation, to reduce cost.
Please respond with 1) reference videos (please be sure to include specific examples of animation work you have executed that achieves the character animation quality shown in the link above), and 2) please provide me with a top-sheet budget.
I am seeking a producing partner on this project because I do not have experiencing managing projects at this (lower) budget level. Successful candidates will be extremely resourceful and be comfortable taking a hands-on approach and outsourcing elements of the production to control costs.
