We’re an innovative e-bike startup preparing to launch in the US market. We’re seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to create a premium e-commerce design system that elevates our brand and drives conversions.

– No mobile/responsive designs
– Brand guidelines development in progress
PROJECT GOALS
Create a premium design system that matches the design excellence and user experience of industry leaders:
– Cowboy Bikes
– Super73
– Ristretto Bikes
– Onewheel
KEY PROJECT DELIVERABLES
– Complete responsive design system (mobile, tablet, desktop)
– Enhanced user experience focused on conversion
– Comprehensive design language including:
* Typography scale and hierarchy
* Spacing system and grid structure
* Color relationships and application
* Component library
* Animation and motion guidelines
– High-fidelity Figma prototypes
– Design documentation for development handoff
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
– Expert proficiency in Figma
– Understanding of Shopify’s capabilities and limitations
– Knowledge of modern web design principles
– Experience with responsive design patterns
– Understanding of performance implications in design decisions
REQUIRED FOR PROPOSAL
– Portfolio featuring premium e-commerce projects
– Examples of Shopify store designs (ideally with before/after)
– Brief analysis of our benchmark websites’ design and UX
– Your approach to:
* Mobile-first responsive design
* E-commerce conversion optimization
* Design system development
We’re looking for a designer who can create a showcase e-commerce experience that captures our brand’s premium positioning. Previous experience with premium e-bike, e-mobility, lifestyle or technology brands is a significant plus.
