We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator with extensive experience in flooring takeoffs to join our team in a remote freelance role. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of accurately estimating costs for flooring projects, managing budgets, and supporting efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents for flooring projects
Calculate material and labor costs, considering product specifications, quantities, and installation methods
Provide accurate takeoffs for various flooring types, including carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, and laminate
Expertise:
Flooring takeoffs for commercial and residential projects
Material estimation for carpet, tile, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, and other flooring types
Value engineering to offer cost-effective options
Budget management and cost control
Software Proficiency:
Flooring estimation software, such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam Revu
Microsoft Excel for calculations and budgeting
