Seeking a talented GIS data analyst and data visualization expert who can analyze the following type of data
We have the home address of a large number of customers for a chain of retail locations in the US. We also have the address of the our locations and the names of their key competitors (from which we can easily get their addresses). We are looking to determine the behavior of customers vis a vis choosing our stores and whether they drive past competitor locations to select us. Ultimately, we will see that X% drive past competitors to come to our location. We also have data on the customers that includes the frequency, time, and day of week that they visit our locations. We will also look at the impact when a competitor opens in our region and what that does to cut off customers who might now have a closer alternative.
This project will kick off in the first week of January, but I am seeking to set the team and the budget ASAP. Please respond with your relevant experience, the software tools you would use, the types of output you can help produce, and your expected rate. If you have sample output that you have previously produced, please share that. Ultimately, we will need to present a visual representation of customer preferences based on travel times (or distances) and competitor locations.
