We are seeking a highly skilled Google Search Console expert to correct our website’s indexing and search appearance issues. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve problems related to alternate pages with proper canonical tags, pages with redirects, 404 errors, and pages blocked by robots.txt.
You will address “Discovered – currently not indexed” and “Crawled – currently not indexed” issues, ensuring proper indexing and visibility in search results. The candidate will also improve the appearance of indexed pages that are currently blocked by robots.txt, ensuring an optimal user and search engine experience. Strong knowledge of Google Search Console tools, SEO best practices, and technical site auditing is essential to excel in this role.
Google Search Console shows that our website currently have 116 pages identified as alternate pages with proper canonical tags, 102 pages with redirects, 61 pages returning a 404 (Not found) error, 16 pages blocked by robots.txt, 38 pages discovered but not yet indexed, and 31 pages that have been crawled but are not indexed.
You will work to fix all these issues that directly impact our site’s visibility because unindexed pages cannot be served on Google.
