Human Resources Executives

We are seeking an HR Compliance and Payroll Specialist who will be instrumental in maintaining our company’s compliance standards across multiple states, managing payroll processes, and effectively resolving employee issues. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of HR policies and state-specific compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
Regularly research and stay up-to-date with HR compliance requirements in California, Denver, and Arizona. Implement and update necessary policies and practices to ensure company-wide adherence.

Payroll Administration:
Efficiently run bi-weekly payroll operations, including but not limited to, calculating wages, processing time-off requests, and managing tax-related matters. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll activities.

Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Mediate conflicts, address grievances, and foster a positive work environment.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of payroll data, compliance documentation, and employee interactions. Prepare reports and insights for management to support decision-making processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in HR operations. Implement best practices in payroll and compliance management to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in HR compliance, payroll administration, and employee relations, preferably across multiple states.

Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations. You MUST have knowledge of onboarding, and what documents are required for employees.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems, especially Workforce NOW and RUN with ADP.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity and call said companies when necessary.
