Project Overview: Seeking an animator for a 5-minute visual accompaniment to a classical piano concert. The animation will follow a first-person perspective of someone’s evening routine and dream sequence, synchronized with nocturne performances. This is an intimate exploration of transitioning from a busy day to peaceful night.

Scope of Work
– 5-minute animation in first-person POV
– 6 main transitional sequences:
Arriving home (evening transition)
Window contemplation with tea
Journal writing sequence
Dream sequence with surreal elements
3 AM quiet moment
Pre-dawn awakening

Emphasis on hands-only visibility for human elements
Mixture of realistic environments and surreal dream sequences
Music-synchronized transitions

Timeline & Delivery

First draft delivery: as soon as you could
Final delivery needed by: it would be wonderful to have it before December 10th, but we understand it’s such a short amount of time, so we can be flexible!
Regular check-ins at completion of each major sequence

Openness to artistic interpretation while maintaining project vision
Feedback implementation through organized revision rounds

This project is scheduled to be presented during the artist’s US tour. The visual project will be presented with credit.

Technical Requirements:
Delivery in 4K resolution (3840×2160)
24fps frame rate
Final format: ProRes 422 HQ or equivalent quality
Both stereo and 5.1 surround mixing capability preferred

Required Experience & Skills:
3+ years professional animation experience

Strong portfolio showing:
First-person perspective work
Atmospheric lighting and mood creation
Transition design
Strong communication skills

Visual style combines:

Realistic environments with subtle surreal elements
Elegant transitions between scenes
Atmospheric lighting changes
Minimalist human presence (mainly hands and back or bits of the human)
