Job Description:
I am seeking a skilled iOS developer with hands-on experience in ARKit to help us bring an exciting app concept to life. The app will leverage augmented reality to track and analyze the motion of a golf ball, providing data such as speed, angle, trajectory, and other key metrics. This is a prototype stage project, with potential for further development based on initial results.
Responsibilities:
– Develop an iOS app that utilizes ARKit to detect and track a golf ball in motion.
– Accurately calculate and display speed, angle, and trajectory of the golf ball using ARKit and related frameworks.
– Ensure seamless integration of AR elements and real-world tracking.
– Optimize app performance for real-time analysis.
– Provide recommendations on hardware requirements and ARKit capabilities to achieve the project goals.
Requirements:
– Proven experience with iOS development, especially using ARKit.
– Strong understanding of motion tracking, physics simulations, and augmented reality applications.
– Experience working with Core Motion, Vision, or other relevant frameworks.
– Proficiency in Swift programming language.
– Familiarity with 3D modeling and AR object placement.
– Ability to troubleshoot and solve challenges related to object detection and real-world environment tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience with sports-related or motion-tracking applications.
– Knowledge of golf mechanics or ball physics (helpful but not required).
– Strong communication skills for providing regular updates and recommendations.
Project Timeline & Budget:
This is a short-term project aimed at testing the concept first. Please include your hourly rate or fixed project fee in your proposal. If the prototype is successful, there may be opportunities for long-term collaboration on further app development.
