Title: Lawyer Needed for Arbitration Response Writing or Review
Job Description:
I am seeking a qualified and experienced attorney to assist me with preparing a response in an ongoing arbitration case.
My prior attorney was in a major car accident and I’m in a bind at the final stage of this case.
This case involves complex issues including harassment, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress. The arbitrator has already issued a tentative ruling, and I have been granted an extension to provide additional arguments and evidence.
I am looking for one of the following:
A lawyer to write my response in its entirety, incorporating legal arguments, evidence, and addressing the arbitrator’s concerns in the tentative ruling.
A lawyer to review and edit a draft response I have written to ensure it is clear, concise, and adheres to legal standards and best practices.
Situation Overview:
The case involves claims of harassment and invasion of privacy against a neighbor, with evidence including false police reports, surveillance, and malicious contact with third parties (e.g., landlord).
Key elements include responding to findings of negligence and clarifying damages, including emotional distress and economic losses.
Requirements:
Licensed attorney experienced in civil law, arbitration, or related fields (California law preferred).
Strong legal writing and argumentation skills.
Ability to review existing evidence and help craft a persuasive response within the time allowed.
Experience in harassment, invasion of privacy, or emotional distress cases is a plus.
Availability to work within a tight timeline, as the response deadline is approaching.
Compensation:
Open to negotiation based on the level of involvement (writing vs. editing). Please provide an estimated timeline and your fee structure in your application.
