Logo Design Needed for Nonprofit Organization

We have already done one round of visual discovery with the client and understand the direction they want to go.

We’re seeking an experienced graphic designer to create a sophisticated, corporate-ready logo for RVSL Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth. The logo needs to work equally well in donor boardrooms and community settings, striking a delicate balance between professionalism and accessibility.

The ideal design will feature clean, contemporary treatment of the letters RVSL (pronounced “reversal”) as the primary mark. We’re looking for simplicity and clarity over artistic complexity, with potential for subtle directional elements that suggest positive change. The design should lead with sophisticated neutrals while incorporating earthy tones that bridge corporate and outdoor contexts.

The successful candidate will have:

-Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, contemporary logo design
-Experience with nonprofit/foundation branding
-Understanding of how logos translate across digital and print applications
-Ability to create comprehensive logo guidelines
-Track record of effective client collaboration and iteration

Deliverables include:

-Primary logo lockup
-Secondary/alternate logo versions
-Black/white variations
-Logo spacing and usage guidelines
-Source files in standard formats

We’ll evaluate proposals based on portfolio strength, particularly examples showing refined typographic treatment and sophisticated minimal design. The selected designer will work closely with our team through multiple iterations to achieve the perfect balance of professionalism and purpose.

Please share your portfolio and a brief description of your approach to this unique branding challenge. We’re excited to find the right creative partner for this meaningful project!
