We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our team at Alex Knight Studio. With a portfolio of 50+ high-end weddings a year, we specialize in Jewish weddings, which require an understanding of traditions and key moments. This role will involve culling and editing large volumes of images while maintaining exceptional quality and balance.
Responsibilities:
• Cull 10,000–15,000 images down to 1,600–2,200 per wedding, focusing on key moments, family dynamics, and artistic shots.
• Edit culled images using Lightroom smart previews and our studio presets.
• Deliver 80–100 preview images within 5 days of receiving the gallery, ensuring a balanced selection of family photos, key moments, and artistic shots to excite the client.
• Complete full event edits within a 3–4 week turnaround per wedding.
• Collaborate closely with our team to ensure the final gallery reflects our studio’s luxury standards and client expectations.
• Utilize AI tools to assist with culling and editing to maintain efficiency and consistency, while still ensuring a personal touch to the final edits.
• Understand and prioritize Jewish wedding traditions, such as the Bedeken, Chuppah, and Hora, ensuring these moments are beautifully and consistently edited.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and photo editing workflows.
• Experience editing and culling large wedding galleries with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Jewish wedding traditions is required.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong sense of color, composition, and storytelling in photography.
Additional Details:
• You will be working with Lightroom smart previews.
• Our studio uses custom presets, which will be provided.
• This is a freelance, remote position with consistent work throughout the year.

• Pricing for culling (10k–15k down to 1,600–2,200 images).
• Pricing for editing (full gallery).
• Combined pricing for both culling and editing per wedding.
