Job Description: Python + AWS Microservices Engineer:
We are seeking a flexible, curious builder with a proactive mindset who thrives on solving problems and creating solutions from scratch. This is not a maintainer role—you should be someone who works with what’s available, understands the “why” behind existing systems, and then innovates. If you’ve ever said, “I’ve never done that before, but I’ll figure it out,” this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deploy containerized microservices in AWS (e.g., Fargate, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Set up scalable cloud solutions for IoT/Edge systems.
• Reviewing Computer Vision python code and refactoring for production.
• Configure and implement AWS services such as SNS and SQS, with a focus on infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Develop endpoints and connect microservices to front-end applications.
• Deploy monitoring solutions (e.g., hardware or camera monitoring) using Docker Compose for edge devices.
• Collaborate on building data pipelines and setting up cloud-native ML systems.
Must-Have Skills
• Proficiency in Python (absolute requirement).
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services (e.g., Lambda, Fargate, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.).
• Experience building and deploying microservices using Docker and other containerization tools.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Knowledge of TypeScript, particularly for building AWS Lambdas or other microservices.
• Hands-on experience with IoT/Edge solutions integrated with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, IaC, etc.).
• Experience deploying machine learning workflows or services (not mandatory but a plus).
