We are looking for a full-time QA Automation Engineer to join our team.
Tech Stack: React, Next.js, GitLab, Postman, Cypress, and Jest
Automation Testing Frameworks:
-Proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
-Strong experience with Jest for unit and integration testing.
Programming Skills:
-Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
-Familiarity with React component lifecycle and Next.js routing for creating test scenarios.
API Testing:
-Experience using Postman for manual and automated API tests.
-Ability to validate API integrations in React/Next.js applications.
Frontend Framework Testing:
-In-depth knowledge of testing React and Next.js applications, including SSR (server-side rendering) and static site generation.
Version Control and CI/CD:
-Proficiency in GitLab, including setting up pipelines for automated testing integration.
End-to-End Workflow Automation:
-Ability to create and maintain robust, reusable test suites in Cypress.
-Experience with mocking APIs and data for consistent test environments.
Test Reporting:
-Familiarity with generating reports from Cypress and Jest test runs.
-Integration of test results into GitLab for team visibility.
Cross-Browser Testing:
-Knowledge of tools like BrowserStack or Cypress plugins for ensuring browser compatibility.
Responsibilities
-Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using industry-standard tools and best practices
-Create and execute automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend services
-Collaborate with developers to identify test requirements and implement test automation strategies
-Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
-Monitor and analyze test results to identify patterns and potential issues
-Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
-Debug failed tests and work with development team to resolve issues
-Join daily standups.
This role will be expected to work in GMT.
