We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Algorithm Developer to design, implement, and test a novel quantum algorithm for accurate and efficient prediction of molecular binding affinities. This role is central to our efforts in leveraging quantum computing for groundbreaking advancements in computational chemistry.

Responsibilities:

Develop a quantum algorithm tailored for calculating molecular binding energies and related properties.
Implement the algorithm using relevant quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
Optimize the algorithm for performance and scalability on current and near-term quantum hardware.
Rigorously test and benchmark the algorithm against classical methods and validate its accuracy.
Collaborate with computational chemists and quantum computing experts to refine the algorithm and address specific scientific challenges.
Deliver a functional and documented algorithm that demonstrates a clear quantum advantage for molecular binding prediction.
Qualifications:

Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum algorithm design.
Proven experience in developing and implementing quantum algorithms.
Familiarity with quantum chemistry and molecular modeling is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to deliver working algorithms and meet project deadlines.
