Job Description for Recruiter and HR Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter and HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, as well as handling various HR tasks to support our employees and organizational goals. This role requires interaction with hiring managers, department heads, and potential candidates to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the company.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage job postings on various platforms and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR system.
• Assist with employee relations issues and provide support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in recruitment and HR roles.
• Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and (Brazilian) Portuguese is required. Spanish is a Plus.
