We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented researcher to create compelling and well-structured iceberg charts for our YouTube channel. Our channel explores the darker side of the internet, pop culture, and history, so a genuine interest in the macabre, obscure, and mysterious is essential.
What is an Iceberg Chart?
An iceberg chart is a tiered list where the surface-level segments are more well-known or mainstream, while the deeper layers delve into progressively obscure, unsettling, or disturbing content. Each chart will consist of 50 segments divided across seven layers, with each layer becoming darker and more mysterious than the last.
Responsibilities:
– Research and compile 50 unique, interesting, and relevant segments for each assigned video topic.
– Write a 3-5 sentence description or summary for each segment, ensuring the content is concise, engaging, and accurate.
– Structure the chart into seven layers, with each layer progressively more obscure or disturbing.
– Revise the chart if more than 10 segments are rejected, providing replacements to meet a minimum of 40 approved segments.
Requirements:
– Strong research skills with a passion for exploring dark, weird, and obscure topics.
– Ability to meet a 48-hour turnaround time for each assigned topic.
– Familiarity with iceberg charts and YouTube content similar to channels like SIRIUS – YouTube is a plus.
Compensation:
$35 per completed and approved iceberg chart.
We would need 2-3 of them per week.
