Job Description: Social Media Coordinator (Entry-Level)
Position: Social Media Coordinator
Location: Remote (with occasional virtual or in-person team meetings)
Hourly Rate: $10/hour
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per month (3.75 hours per week)

We are an independent film production team working on an impactful indie series that explores social justice, mental health, and domestic violence. Our mission is to tell compelling stories that inspire and drive change. As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in amplifying our film’s message and connecting with our audience through social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
– Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content that aligns with the film’s mission and themes.
– Actively participate in team meetings to stay informed on project updates and marketing strategies.
– Report to upper management with regular updates on social media performance and campaign progress.
– Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and tags to build a strong and engaged community.
– Develop visual assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop, ensuring they reflect the tone and aesthetic of the project.
– Track and analyze social media metrics, providing insights to improve engagement and outreach.
Requirements:
– Strong interest in independent filmmaking and storytelling.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
– Basic understanding of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus.
– Ability to understand and promote the film project’s mission.
– Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
– Availability to attend team meetings (virtual or in-person) and commit to 3.75 hours per week (15 hours per month).
