Social Media Manager for Tea Company (Food and Beverage)

Job Description:

We seek a proactive and strategic social media manager responsible for planning and executing our strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to analyze data to drive decisions. You will work closely with our team to enhance brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive conversions.

Strategic Planning:

— Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

— Plan and schedule social media content at least two months in advance, including specific campaigns (e.g., Christmas campaign, product launches).

— Conduct weekly meetings to review data and strategize improvements based on analytics and A/B testing results.

— Anticipate the needs of upcoming campaigns and proactively gather necessary resources.

Content Creation:

— Create, edit, and post engaging content (posts, carousels, reels) across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok.

— Utilize existing digital assets (photos, videos) to produce new content that aligns with our brand aesthetics.

— Perform photo and video editing, including brightness adjustments, sharpness enhancements, and other post-processing tasks.

— Maintain consistency in branding and aesthetics across all platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.

Community Building:

— Build and manage an online community, including creating a Facebook group to foster engagement among tea enthusiasts.

— Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly.

— Encourage user-generated content and facilitate community discussions.

Advertising and Promotion:

— Develop and execute boosting strategies and social media advertising campaigns within allocated budgets.

— Manage social media ads on Instagram and Facebook to drive traffic and conversions.

— Understand and implement social media shops, link trees, and UTM links for effective product placement.

— Source and collaborate with affiliate influencers to expand brand reach.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

— Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.

— Conduct A/B testing to optimize content and posting strategies.

— Provide regular reports and insights to inform future planning and decision-making.

Collaboration and Coordination:

— Coordinate with cross-functional teams (photographers, videographers, product managers) via Slack to manage content needs.

— Create and manage documents using Google Docs and Google Drive to communicate schedules and strategies.

— Work closely with the product manager to update and refine brand guidelines.

— Ensure clear communication of roles and responsibilities among team members to maximize operational efficiency.

Brand Knowledge and Development:

— Develop a deep understanding of our tea products, brand mission, and vision.

— Continuously learn about the tea industry to effectively communicate with and engage our audience.

— Review and enhance brand guidelines to ensure they are up-to-date and reflect our brand identity.

Experience:

— Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

— Demonstrable experience in creating engaging content and growing social media presence.

— Experience with social media advertising and knowledge of boosting strategies.

Skills:

— Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to plan content and campaigns for months.

— Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).

— Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, including understanding nuances in tone and mood.

— Ability to discern and edit AI-generated content to ensure a human touch in all communications.

— Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and A/B testing.

— Familiarity with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok.

— Knowledge of community-building strategies and experience in managing online groups.

— Understanding tools like Linktree, UTM parameters, and social media shops.

Technical Proficiency:

— Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Drive) for collaboration and document management.

— Comfortable using Slack for team communication.

— Ability to work with cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively.
