About Us
We are a nonprofit organization working with murder-suicide survivors to share their stories, create understanding, and provide support to others affected by similar tragedies. We’re developing a groundbreaking podcast series that will give voice to survivors while treating these sensitive topics with the respect and care they deserve.
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced podcast producer to lead the technical production and distribution of our upcoming series. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with sensitivity to trauma-informed storytelling and the ability to handle difficult subject matter professionally.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end podcast production, including audio recording, editing, sound design, and post-production
Work closely with forensic psychology experts and survivors to craft compelling, respectful narratives
Manage technical aspects of podcast distribution across multiple platforms
Assist in developing marketing strategies specific to true crime podcast audiences
Ensure consistent audio quality and maintain production schedules
Handle sensitive content and survivor interviews with appropriate care and professionalism

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience in podcast production, preferably in true crime or documentary genres
Proven track record of podcast publishing and distribution across major platforms
Strong technical skills in audio recording, editing, and post-production
Experience with industry-standard audio production software
Excellent project management and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive content with appropriate care

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with trauma survivors or in mental health settings
Background in true crime podcast production
Knowledge of podcast marketing and audience growth strategies
Understanding of ethical considerations in true crime content
Experience working with nonprofit organizations
