Job Overview:
As a Twilio Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining communication workflows, including voice, messaging, and video communication systems. You will work closely with our technical and business teams to integrate Twilio’s APIs with our applications and ensure seamless communication experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement communication solutions using Twilio APIs (SMS, Voice, Email, Video, etc.).
• Integrate Twilio with internal and external platforms.
• Optimize and maintain existing Twilio implementations.
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve Twilio-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill communication needs.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in communications.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of Twilio services, including setting up dashboards and alerts.
• Stay updated with Twilio’s latest features and updates, and implement improvements where necessary.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience with Twilio API development and integration.
• Strong understanding of Twilio’s product suite: Programmable SMS, Voice, Video, Studio, and other communication tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Experience with REST APIs and webhooks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Prior experience working with communication workflows for customer service, sales, or notification systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Twilio Flex or Twilio Studio.
• Familiarity with other communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Slack integrations).
• Knowledge of security and privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
