UXUI Designer for Japanese Mobile Website

Project Overview:


As a UX/UI Designer for Kojo Japanese, you will play a key role in shaping our educational platform. The project will consist of:


Phase 1: Understanding the brand identity and ensuring design consistency throughout the platform.
Phase 2: Creating wireframes/ lofi prototype on mobile then desktop for Japanese lessons with video, quizzes, and other interactive content. Lesson flow has already been mostly determined.
Phase 3: Evolving these into hi-fi prototypes to integrate design elements, functionality, and aesthetics.


We will evaluate after each phase before moving on to the next. Opportunity to expand on project scope depending on performance.



Requirements:


・ Proven experience in UX/UI design for mobile websites with a strong portfolio of past projects.
・ Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
・ Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
・ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Timezone:



We operate in both US PT and Japan time zones. Ideal candidate would be available to communicate between 5pm PT – 10pm PT for a couple of hours minimum. 




Bonus Qualifications:


・ Experience with the WIX platform and its features.
・ Understanding of Japanese is a plus.
