Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled video editor with experience to edit our long-form and short-form YouTube videos. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and be comfortable working with scripts, audio, and stock footage to create engaging content.
Responsibilities:
* Edit YouTube videos from raw audio and video recordings.
* Incorporate B-roll footage, graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
* Use transcription and Overdub features to match video clips to narration.
* Sync visual elements with audio and voiceover to create seamless, professional videos.
* Experience with AI voice and 11 Labs
* Work with our team to ensure the tone, style, and pacing are consistent with our brand.
* Collaborate with content creators and writers to bring scripts to life.
* Ensure final videos are optimized for YouTube, maintaining high production quality.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience with video editing. Please provide samples!
* Strong storytelling skills and an ability to create engaging content for YouTube.
* Proficient in adding B-roll, sound effects, and other visual/audio enhancements.
* Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and video structure.
* Knowledge of YouTube content creation, SEO, and video optimization.
Bonus Skills:
Experience editing faceless YouTube videos.
Understanding of the U.S. military, drug trafficking, True Crime, and related topics is a plus.
Graphic design or animation skills to add unique, branded visuals to the content.
