Job Overview
We’re looking for a talented and organized Virtual Assistant to join the Creative Cabana team! This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in digital marketing and a passion for creativity. The ideal candidate will help manage social media accounts, design engaging posts in Canva, organize brand kits, assist with email marketing campaigns, and handle internal administrative tasks. If you’re a social media whiz, fluent in English, and love all things marketing, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
Design creative and visually appealing posts, Stories, and Reels in Canva for various social media accounts, primarily Instagram.
Write engaging, relevant, and on-brand captions tailored to specific audiences.
Schedule and manage posts across platforms using social media management tools.
Assist in creating and maintaining Brand Kits for clients inside Canva.
Email Marketing:
Assist in setting up and managing email marketing campaigns in platforms like MailChimp and Flodesk.
Design email templates, write copy, and segment email lists for maximum impact.
Administrative Tasks:
Organize and streamline internal processes for Creative Cabana.
Maintain Google Docs, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools.
Handle correspondence and general administrative tasks.
General Marketing Support:
Conduct research and provide insights for client marketing strategies.
Help with Creative Cabana’s own branding, marketing, and client-facing projects.
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and social media best practices.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 2 years of digital marketing experience.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Canva (design and Brand Kits).
Familiarity with Instagram content creation, trends, and engagement strategies.
Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Flodesk, or similar).
Excellent organizational skills with Google Docs, spreadsheets, and workflows.
Strong copywriting skills for captions and email marketing.
Understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills
Experience with other social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
Knowledge of basic SEO principles for captions and email copy.
Ability to analyze social media and email marketing performance metrics.
