Job Title: Virtual Assistant for Lead Generation and Research

I am seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to assist with lead generation and research for two branches of my business:
Motivational Speaking: Finding opportunities to connect with youth organizations.
Inspired Expectations: Sourcing sponsorship and donation leads for funding Dream Backpacks and Life Design curriculum enrollment.
This role focuses on building a high-quality database of contacts within Kern County, CA, for both initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Motivational Speaking Outreach:
Identify youth-focused organizations, including:
Juvenile detention centers and prisons
Group homes
Foster care organizations
Youth development programs
Other organizations serving youth and young adults
Collect detailed contact information for coordinators, administrators, event staff, and decision-makers.
Sponsorship and Donation Outreach:
Research all small businesses in Kern County, CA, across various industries that may be interested in community impact initiatives.
Identify potential sponsors or donors willing to support Dream Backpacks and Life Design curriculum enrollment.
Accurate Data Collection: For each lead, gather:
Organization/business name
Contact name (decision-maker)
Email address
Phone number
Title/role of the contact
Website URL
Social media handles
Organize Data: Input all information into a well-structured Google Sheet.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress, ensuring data accuracy and completion.
Requirements:
Proven experience in lead generation and research.
Familiarity with youth organizations and small businesses.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Google Sheets.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Experience:
Working with motivational speakers, youth developers, or similar professionals.
Researching sponsorship and donor opportunities.
Work Hours and Pay:
A few hours per day, 3 to 5 days a week.
$5–$10 per hour, depending on experience.
