We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SEO & WordPress Content Optimizer to review, optimize, and schedule blog articles for publication. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring articles are well-optimized for search engines, look professional, and engage readers. You will also work within WordPress to schedule posts and make sure articles are formatted properly with relevant images.
All articles will be found in drafts on WordPress. It will be your job to go through each article, read it, optimize it, and set up the page.
The blog is about Amazon Finds, so you will need to know how to add buttons and make articles look nice and neat with a list of product recommendations.
We will provide the list of products to you for each article. You will need to get the main image from Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
– Review and optimize articles for SEO, including keyword integration, meta descriptions, and improving readability.
– Format articles in WordPress, using layouts and tools to make sure content looks polished and visually appealing.
– Schedule blog posts on WordPress.
– Add relevant images to articles, ensuring they align with the content and improve the article’s appearance.
– Ensure content follows best SEO practices to improve rankings on search engines.
– Conduct manual SEO checks, avoiding the use of AI tools for optimization.
– Communicate with the content team about article deadlines and updates.
Requirements:
– Proven experience with WordPress, including article creation, scheduling, and image uploading.
– Strong understanding of SEO best practices, especially for blogs.
– Ability to format articles in a visually appealing manner using WordPress layouts.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– No use of AI tools in article optimization. Use of AI will result in immediate contract termination.
– Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Excellent communication skills.
Duration:
This is a 6-month contract position, with a trial period at the start.
